Our client, a rapidly growing company specializing in road signage, is currently seeking a Project Manager.
Nature of position
Under the supervision of the Vice President of Operations, you will be responsible for the daily execution of all assigned projects, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality and safety standards are met. In this role, your responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out signage projects by overseeing the planning, coordination, and invoicing of the various stages of the projects under your responsibility;
- Establishing and maintaining positive and lasting relationships with clients to define their needs and requests and ensure project designs meet them;
- Validating and ensuring project costs (estimates and project costs);
- Monitoring and controlling the quality and progress of work with various departments;
- Resolving project execution issues and identifying the cause of unforeseen failures;
- Monitoring project budgets and producing real-time breakdowns for invoicing;
- Preparing and tracking project schedules;
- Organizing technical meetings with clients, subcontractors, or relevant departments as needed;
- Identifying new technologies that could enhance operations;
- Ensuring work supervision and compliance with schedules through real-time follow-ups;
- Designing and preparing signage plans and verifying their compliance with specific and general specifications, as well as MTQ, TOME V standards, and other applicable regulations or legislation;
- Ensuring the design meets client needs and requests;
- Signing and sealing signage drawings;
- Reviewing and approving design work as needed at the request of the director;
- Performing any other tasks consistent with your role.
Required qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering;
- Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec;
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience;
- Proficient in 2D AutoCAD with strong attention to detail;
- Excellent command of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams, etc.);
- Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously and work as part of a team.
